ETHYL SILICATE BASED CONSOLIDATOR FOR DEGRADED BUILDING SURFACES

SOLID RAPID is a liquid formulation that allows the consolidation of mineral building materials degraded by atmospheric conditions (acid rain, etc.) through the chemical recomposition of the mineral matrix, restoring its consistency characteristics. Consolidation takes place through the reaction of SOLID RAPID within the porosity of the treated material. After consolidation to the desired extent, it is advisable to create a water-repellent protection to prevent the penetration of humidity in which gaseous, liquid, solid pollutants and microorganisms can be dissolved which can cause further degradation of the mineral building materials. The application is carried out by spraying, rolling or with a layer of impregnated cloth.
